One of my good friends of 3 years gave birth to a baby girl. I really wanted to host a baby shower for her but because we’re geographically apart, we can’t coordinate. We can’t even coordinate online because we both don’t login at the same time.

I was just wanting this so much because it’s her 2nd baby and she’s gone through a lot for the little bubba. She’s had a very umm… how do I say it… uncomfortable pregnancy (even with her first born so this might definitely be her last) that I wanted to give her something really special to mark her being a brave and courageous woman.

I actually had some ideas for baby shower invitations when I saw her post the ultrasound photos of her baby. Sadly, it didn’t push through but maybe I can still make a template and send one to her as a souvenir. I know she’ll appreciate the thought and will remember our friendship forever.

I don’t think I can ever recall at which age I was of “normal” weight.  From my memory, I’ve always been on the plus size for as long as I can recall.

I have always been comfortable with my weight except when my friends (who are almost all weight-conscious) talk about their favorite sexy camo lingerie. But since I’m sick now and am losing weight, I know I can continue on with the weight loss and maybe try out some lingerie soon.
