Time to Try Something New

Growing up, I’ve never been one to wear perfume or cologne. Maybe it’s because I didn’t really see a need for it because we didn’t have to attend a lot of formal events.

Green Tea by Elizabeth ArdenBut at this stage in my life, fragrances seem to be of a new interest to me. Attending meetings, presentations, various training and conferences make me realize how important it is to “freshen up” before diving into deep conversation with bosses and clients.

My current addiction is Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden. Green Tea is perfect for easy afternoon meetings or just spending the day lazily with friends and loved ones. It’s just great for everyday wear. I’ve had a chance to try out her other lines as well and am considering getting another for more “formal” events.

For Girls and Boys Alike

I now know the perfect gift for girls and boys from ages 3-10. Matchbox or Toy cars!

All along I thought it would only be perfect for boys until recently when 2 girls in my family (aged 3 and 4) wanted the same gift for Christmas as their 8-year old (boy) cousin. I guess buying amt models would be on my list for years to come. I really don’t mind though, I think it’s also good that girls get to play with cars too. But the 3 year old has a specific request. She wants me to find a pink and purple striped model car. Now that would be the challenge!

New Year, New Beginning

I haven’t really thought of what I’d like for the year to come. I know it’s late and I should have my resolutions and goals listed but I guess cramming always works for me, even if they are just thoughts and ideas.

But if there’s one thing that’s bugging me, maybe it’s time to finally meet some people from the opposite gender… finally. I’ll probably check out some free online dating services since they’ve become quite popular and safe nowadays because of their abundance. Finding new “friends” online feels a bit safer for me than being set up on a blind date because at least you don’t expose yourself right off the bat.

Have you compiled your own resolutions and goals for 2012?
