What we love about Christmas is that it’s the time for family get-together.  Even though most of us see each other just this once in a year, it still brings a feeling of “family” of “being home” regardless where Christmas is spent (venue changes every year).

The other thing I personally look forward to is our jamming and karaoke sessions.  With most members of the family being musically-gifted, Christmas is the perfect time to unleash those talents and harmonize.  Karaoke is really fun but with the current generation, I wouldn’t be surprised if we would have something like a “Battle of the Bands” going on soon.

Most of the “young ones” play an instrument or two, and of course can definitely sing.  Instruments in a song? Definitely heading into the band war direction don’t you think?  I just hope they bring whatever equipment they would need like a peavey because that is something I definitely do NOT have in my house, and yes… we’re the Christmas venue for this year.
