Ever since I started blogging and met a few friends, there has been about 3 moms who’ve really supported me on how to earn.  They’ve religiously given me some tasks to do and I’ve enjoyed doing them because I get to hone my skills as well as have a peek at what they do online.

Funny thing is, these are moms that I’ve never met, and probably never will unless they come home.  They’ve already settled themselves on the other side of the globe but I know sooner or later they will probably bring their family to meet other relatives here.

Because they’ve been, and still are my angels, I really want to express my gratitude by giving them some token or something.  Sending them something from here would be very expensive because of shipping costs so I was thinking of buying something there and just have it delivered to them.  Not knowing what they’re fond of is hard.  I don’t know if they’ll appreciate purses, clutches, trinkets or scarves.  But because I’ve been hearing how great their summer is, I have the perfect idea.

I’ve been looking online for flower delivery services.  I know flowers will be just perfect for them.  I have seen a lot of their photos online, enjoying their gardens and other scenery so I know they will appreciate it.  This is one gift I know I won’t regret.  It’s a far cry from what they’ve given me but I know they will know how much I appreciate them so much.

We just had a couple of friends over and we had such a great time. It’s been a long time that we’ve had a group bigger than 5 in this house, more so with people we know from more than 3 years ago. Reminiscing was the biggest activity in more than 4 hours and it was such a laugh to talk about all of it now. Good thing I always have some chips and juice stored or I would’ve had our guests buy some F & B.

The after-”party” though was a different story. Between the mess of having to pick up dropped chips, and straightening out messed up pillows and cushions, the thing that irked me the most are the ring marks on my wooden tables!

I made sure they had coasters even before we started everything! I guess they just didn’t notice it on the table. Next time I’ll make sure to get some personalized drink coasters that says “Glass here please” or something so I can be sure they’re seen right away.
