I hope nothing follows

First it was the 5.9-magnitude earthquake (we felt it at 4.0) yesterday morning at 1:15am. Then it was the Signal #2 due to Typhoon Juaning. I shudder to think of what’s coming next, except if it’s nothing else.

Typhoon is common these months until about October.  We’re all used to that.  But we haven’t had earthquakes that we really felt in years.  It seems kind of alarming that all these are happening all over the world.  The only thing I know to do is to keep on praying.

Let’s all keep on praying that everyone around the world be kept safe.  Let’s keep praying that wherever we are, we are spared from disaster and calamities.  Let’s keep praying that the hard-struck regions stand up again to rebuild their places and even become stronger because of all these challenges.  I can only hold on to my prayers but I’m sure, it’s effect can surpass any calamity.

Do you wear a watch?

I haven’t worn a watch since God knows when. Even when I was still in school, I wasn’t really in the habit of wearing watches. I would, if the watch came in the form of a ring or a bracelet. In fact, I can remember when I was still in elementary, I loved my Hello Kitty ring watch dearly. Now that I’m older, I love bracelet watches. That’s the only time I wear a watch, and only as an accessory too. I’m so used to looking at the time from my phone. But hey, if someone will give me any one of those michael kors watches, I’d greatly appreciate it. And of course I’d wear it!
