The Pacman does it AGAIN! Well personally, I don’t really find a lot of excitement in watching since I already know that Manny Pacquiao is going to win. Even against a big man like Margarito, Pacquiao was still able to win with his super fast moves, and his power-packed punches. At the end of the fight, my friends aptly gave Margarito the nickname “Maga-rito”, since the Tagalog word “maga” means swollen in English. But with all due respect to Margarito, he put up a good fight, and he was a very good sport.

Why do I feel like there isn’t as much enthusiasm and joy after the past few Pacman fights? Is it because we are all too confident and expecting him to win? When I saw Manny’s face after winning the fight against Margarito, I didn’t see the happiness and pride that I saw years ago when he was winning his first few bouts. No more tears of joy, no more cries of sheer passion. But still, we Pinoys are proud of you Manny Pacquiao. Thank you for bringing pride to our country.

Same as last year, my dream and my goal for the near future is to buy a house. Still a long way down the road, and I know it won’t happen within a year, but I hope in 2 years I will be able to have the money to pay for the initial deposit for a new house. And I won’t settle for less too. I’m dreaming big — and so I want a spacious house with enough room for a nice kitchen, and I want like a mini bar area complete with bar stools and tables. And a porch with a swing too. And big spacious rooms!

Happy Halloween everyone! Were you able to go trick or treating? Little Sanjo wasn’t able to because I didn’t know of any trick or treat events here in Zamboanga City but I hope that we would be able to try it next year. I was wondering what the popular costumes are for this year’s Halloween costume parties and balls. I’m thinking more of those J-Pop, K-Pop or hip hop clothes that so trendy lately. How about you? What did you or your kids wear for Halloween?
