I just heard on the news that this year’s Christmas might be a wet and rainy one. Bummer! I was looking forward to night trips with the little girl in the villages close to where we live. I’m sure she’d love to see the Christmas lights and decors everywhere.

Oh well, I guess our boot dryers will have to stay out a while longer. I’m still praying though that the weather changes and we’ll at least have a cool and un-wet Christmas.

One year ago I was active with a group of moms online who all wanted their kids to be featured in magazines. We all got to know each other when most of us moved to Facebook.

Back then, I was one of the few who were living outside the US and it was then that I found out that having a permanent helper or maid was deemed a luxury for most of them. Here, almost everyone I know has a helper, a maid, a stay-in nanny, a driver, a male helper, name it… any shape or form of physical help, you can easily find here, for a price of course.

Since then I got curious about the availability of similar services and I chanced upon Maid Service Fairfax VA. Good to know my friends abroad can actually get the help they need if they wanted to. Maybe some of them has hired the service since we talked. Now they can’t say that I’m the rich momma anymore just because I get some help. It was such a misconception that I knew I had to correct.
