A Girl’s Best Friend

The Holiday season is one of the best times to propose to a girl. Why? Because the cold weather is just perfect for moments like this. Picture you and your loved one under the star-filled night sky, out for a stroll with a cup of hot coffee each to warm your hands. Then you spot a secluded bench, across a sparkling lake and head off in that direction for a short rest. With cold air blowing around and coffee warming your hands, your partner suddenly goes down on his knees to profess his love. Isn’t it just romantic?

That is how a proposal should be like, well thought out. It will definitely make a woman feel awesome and remember it for the rest of her life. However, your proposal will be a major flop without the perfect ring. There are numerous designers out there, but one definitely stands out because of quality and impeccable craftsmanship. Check out Scott Kay jewelry and you’ll never look at any other designers’ rings again.

Blast from the Past

My sister and I were talking about our childhood earlier when we met up for lunch. It’s interesting why the first few things we remembered from the past were those that were silly, crazy or just plain umm… funny.

One such instance was when I flew in the air like a soccer ball because I was accused of playing with an old TV’s on-off switch. You know the ones where you push and pull, like those in the 80s. Why I flew is another story for another post perhaps but for now, I’m just glad we had that much needed blast from the past.

As soon as I got home, I immediately rummaged through the things in the other room because I know we still have an analog TV somewhere. Maybe I can buy a digital converter and make it work. It would be awesome to have it work again to always remind me of a fun childhood.
